Spain is the winner of 7 Cerros Medellín 2007!

Spain’s Teva-La Pinilla are the winners of 7 Cerros Medellín 2007! Penalty calculations had some major effects on the rankings. Sweden’s Lundhags Adventure raced extremely strongly on the final day of competition and took second, and Bosi Colombia – with consistently high rankings over all three days of competition – brought the host country on to the podium taking third.

Team Sole raced very strongly on the final day, and are somewhat disappointed with their fourth place finish, after route choice issues on Day 1 and confusion over where the finish line was (its location changed due to events beyond the organizers’ control during competition) on Day 2.

Captain of Colombia’s team Saferbo, Ricky Vélez, was very pleased with their fifth-place result in a competition that included some of the world’s top AR teams.

All the teams, as well as myself, were up at 4am to catch our flights out of Medellín. I am writing this quick update during a quick stop at LAX – stay tuned for more details tomorrow.See All Event Posts
