Lunch and open ceremony

Hours before knowing the mysteries of the Ecomotion Pro 2007 course, all 56 teams, press and race staff participated in a lunch in the Brava Beach, in Búzios, to have a little time to relax.

All teams had the opportunity to meet each other and, encouraged by the organization, exchange some team shirts. Of course almost every Brazilian team wanted to have a piece of the Team Sole gear and in a few minutes a group of athletes surrounded Paul Romero and Karen Lundgren, looking for a shirt or pants.

Beside this, international teams wanted some Brazilian teams shirts, like Emma Roca, captain of Buff Coolmax (ESP), and winner of Ecomotion Pro 2005, who talked with the Brazilian team Guaranis about a team shirt exchange after the race.

It was a very sunny and warm day and when the lunch started, everybody entered the building and formed a long queue for food. But the race for food started earlier than people imagined and only the fastest athletes grabbed a good portion of food. See All Event Posts
