After 4 days of intense competition, Huaira Sinchi 2007 is over.

This year the race was the hardest yet; the high altitudes, bad weather and physical exhaustion forced many teams to abandon the competition (including favourite teams #1 from Spain and #3 from Colombia). By the end of the race, only a few teams had completed the entire route. The final positions where: 1st- Team Tatoo – Energizer from Ecuador; 2nd – Team Asertec Nike Orbea from Ecuador; 3rd – Team Quattro de Schick Argentina.

Most of the teams were joyful for participating in such great adventure. Landscapes along the route were amazing, compensating for the fatigue; and the final reward was being able to fight the strength of the wind and surpassing each one’s personal limits.
