Dates for Florida Coast to Coast Announced by Adventurous Concepts

Elias Jimenez and the crew from Adventurous Concepts have confirmed that the Florida Coast to Coast is coming back for another year. If previous years are any indication the race will start on the Gulf of Mexico side of the state and end somewhere on the Atlantic Ocean side.

The race is scheduled for May 23-26, 2008 and will be held in the central part of the state. Competitors can expect to run, trek, kayak, bike, and navigate non-stop up to 72 hours. If you feel that you are not quite up to the challenge of a 3-day race, the FC2C has a relay category, which allows teams to have up to six team members, while any four are racing between transition areas.

Registration opens on January 15, 2008 with either mail in forms available on the race website or you can register on Active website.
