Day 2, 4:30 pm

Yoga Slackers came running into CP10 at 1:10 pm. “That canyoning was really really really really hard, said Jason. “I know Paul told all teams not to turn back no matter what, but I am sure there are going to be some who turn back.

Jason, Lina and Daniel looked great, both physically and emotionally – other than their feet, which could almost be compared to prunes other than their waxy white colour. They transitioned fast, and were soon on their bikes and out of there.

Then the wait was on for the Swedish-American trio ExtremeSports.dk. There was a bit of a mystery happening here – the SPOT data showed them passing the unmanned CP9 one hour after Yoga Slackers, but there was no SPOT point registering them as having passed CP8, a manned CP, and the personnel there had never seen them pass through either. We were just starting to think that possibly they were backtracking to hit PC8, when they appeared out of the bush – dejected knowing that they might be facing a DQ for not hitting the point, and even more dejected when they heard that DART had left here nearly 4 hours ago.See All Event Posts
