Time to Cool Down
M. Lane / 26.05.2008

After a long trek leg, racers are eager to hit the water sports section. A highlight of this race and possibly a tradition to refresh in the cool clear spring fed water with optional snorkel gear and mandatory PFD. While climbing the floating iceberg to the top and successfully punching a wristband may appear a breeze, this venture requires skill and teamwork to ascend a slick iceberg. There is only one correct way to get off; to slide down the side without holds. Teamwork is key to swim sections for several teams had experienced bouts of leg muscle cramping. Trust in your team will pull you through.
