The fall colors are out in their full glory this year and the countryside around Groveland is absolutely beautiful. The Gold Rush 24 Hour Adventure Challenge started precisely on time at 8:00AM local time. The start finish line was right next to a beautiful pool and waterfall by the Cherry Lake exit off of highway 120. 13 teams started with team Kayak Lake Mead dropping out at the last minute.

The support crews are all standing by at the first assisted check point at Buck Meadow waiting for the first of the teams to roll in sometime after 10:00 AMSee All Event Posts
