Over 30 athletes competed in the gruelling 3 day event, consisting of swimming, mountain biking, off road driving, orienteering, rock climbing, kayaking and team problem solving activities. The four Australians now confirmed to represent Australia are as follows:
• Jarad Kohlar
• Matt Shields
• Zoe King

In true G4 style Christie Sym battled through an ankle injury, sustained on the second day, to still emerge in the top four. \"I am excited ten times over and feeling incredibly fortunate to be representing Australia at the G4 International Selections. In fact I had to pinch myself the morning after the announcement, it was an incredibly surreal experience\" said Christie.

The four Australian representatives will now move on to the G4 Challenge International Selections event to he held at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire, UK, in early 2009. At the UK event one male and one female competitor will be selected to represent the Australia against teams from 17 other countries in the three week long Land Rover G4 Challenge finals in Mongolia mid-2009.
