With thick fog shrouding the start competitors didnt have everything their own way with the leaders getting lost making the track 30mins slower.

Damon Goerke finished strong with a time of 7hrs 58mins 29secs, 16mins clear of Paul Mckenzie and 45mins clear of Liam Corey. Showing how strong Damon was the fact that the fastest team for the 62k run and 17k paddle only finished 8 mins in front of him in a time of 7hrs 50mins 50secs, in second place was Team OPHAG +1hr 19mins.

Conditions for the paddle were perfect with Lake St Clair flat and calm.

Today started off with 112km road bike. at the end of the day Paul Mckenzie had made up the deficit and is now leading Damon overall by 12mins, Liam also managed to make up 6 mins on Damon but still sits in 3rd, the day did claim a few retirements due to injury.
