News just in from Race Director Tim Saul is that Paul Mckenzie has taken out this years Cradle to Coast Ultra Challenge in a total time of 22hrs 37mins 13secs, from Damon Goerke in 2nd place with a time of 23hrs 29mins 35secs with Liam Correy in 3rd.

In the Teams, Healthy Transport Hobart took honours in 21hrs 25mins 37secs (the young farts we are told) and OPHAG (the old farts) finished 2nd in 25hrs 38mins 14secs, Bike Central, a 2 man team came in 3rd, Race Director Tim Saul told us the weather certainly had an effect on the race with torrential rain and low cloud around the mountain today.
