This year nearly 70 teams from ten countries all around the world will participate. Even a team from Brasil, they have picked our race to combine their family holiday in Europe! The first edition was held in 2009. In this first race 29 teams started and from then on the enthusiasm of the participating teams did most of the PR work. But without a lot of hard work it would not have been possible.<br /><br />
The race will start on friday evening with the PRO teams. They will start with a mini adventure race, an idea Wim Vancrayenest of the former RaidXL adventure race in Belgium once added to his former race. Then in the first cycling section we will present a special task we think never to have been done in an adventure race From then on the teams will run through forests and do a city orienteering in a small but interesting town. In the morning the teams will certainly have their sleepmonsters chased away. The moring dip we have planned will take care of that when teams plunge into 13-14degrees celsius water starting the run&swim section.<br />

The BHiking stage is a stage in which 50% of the 20 kilometres the bicycle will be just a piece of stand in the way equipment. So cycling will be (made) impossible. Adding carrying the swimming equipment will make this a tough section. The next orienteering stage will start to make the difference between the teams. From here on a nice bike ride, with a few climbs, will lead the teams to the run&bike section. Before they start this stage we introduce a new archery setup, it will be fun how the teams have to earn their arrows. Well, at least it will be for us and the spectators.See All Event Posts
