Team Cyanosis Ready for Expedition Africa 2014

Once again Cyanosis heads off to another AR World Series event, fortunately this time, right here on our doorstep.
Port Edward, KZN will host the the South African leg of the Adventure Racing World Series when the Expedition Africa race starts on Sunday 26th May 2014. This race will see the most competitive World Class field assembled so far this season, with 27 countries represented. Numerous teams from the Top 10 in the current world rankings are taking part and Cyanosis will be up there with them, trying to improve on their 4th place from 2013!
Teams do not know the race route until hours before the race start, but we are expecting to complete the 550km non-stop race through the Wild Coast / Transkei region in approximately 4 days (or maybe more).
Follow Team # 16 (Cyanosis AR) at http://www.kineticgear.org/ . All teams will be carrying a Satellite tracking device during the race so you will be able to follow Cyanosis' progress live on the “Live Tracking” link on the web site. There is also regular updates on their Facebook page.
The team, consisting of Clinton Mackintosh / Nicholas Mulder / Hilary Pitchford-Bruss & Nathan Thompson, have prepared well for the race and are excited to get going.
