The Falls Creek Mountain Raid capitalises on the natural playground around the Falls Creek Alpine Resort with a range of adventure events suitable for anyone who loves fresh air, mountain scenery and a good dose of off-road action.

The weekend includes a 2 day adventure race for teams and 4 different trail runs - each held as separate races through the magnificent alpine landscape.

ADVENTURE RACE

Teams of 2 or 4 athletes raid the mountains by running on superb alpine trails, mountain biking on flowing single track and paddling on the stunning Rocky Valley Lake whilst working together with your team mate(s) to navigate your way around this remarkable adventure course.

• Kayaking, trail running, mountain biking + adventure activities.
• Full and Half Course options available.
• Teams of 2 or 4 athletes who do the entire event together.
• 1 or 2 day options = race in the day and rest at night!
• Designed for beginners through to experienced adventure junkies

TRAIL RUNNING

A collection of 4 spectacular Trail Runs on beautiful alpine trails surrounding the Falls Creek resort in summer. Run across lofty mountain summits, through fields of alpine wildflowers and past bubbling streams with fresh mountain water. Trail running doesn’t get much better.

• 11.5km Alpine Ash Run - Saturday morning.
• 3km Summit Sprint - Saturday afternoon.
• 5.5km Falls Creek Explorer – Sunday morning.
• 19km Heathy Spur Run - Sunday morning.
• Choose which race (s) you want to do.
• Designed for trail runners of all abilities.
