The race is open to teams of  4 or 2 , being mixed, mens or womens teams. The main category is the mixed team of 4.

ARC 12 Hour

The ARC 12 Hour, in terms of numbers, is one of the most popular adventure races in the country. It consistently attracts over 30 teams.

The course takes in many aspects of the first half of the ARC 24 and this years course is designed to take competitors between 10 and 14  hours. It is an ideal race for new entrants to Adventure Racing or for teams who simply enjoy the shorter format of a 12 hour race. Our aim is to ensure that all teams will finish the course.

The race is open to teams of 4 or 2, with mixed, mens or womens teams. The main category is the mixed team of 4.

The race still takes competitors into the dark zone with some teams finishing up until midnight.

There are now two versions of the ARC 12. The classic version including kayaking, mountain biking and trekking and the non-kayaking version which will include additional trekking and/or mountain biking.
