You will have 5 hours to visit as many points (controls) as you can. Some can only be collected by mountain bike others by foot.
Branded as "Pretty Gritty" the upper Calder Valley combines the beauty of the Southern Pennines with its industrial past. Taking a look at a local map you will see why Calderdale has one of the highest densities of footpaths and bridle ways in the country - over 3000 miles to choose from. The event starts in Todmorden which used to be the border town between Yorkshire and Lancashire - and even used to have two police forces!
