Length: 6 hours
Location: Noosa Hinterland Area, Queensland
The Wild Women Adventure Race was Australia’s FIRST ever all-female adventure race originally conducted back in 2012. The event was conceived by Jan Leverton and Kim Beckinsale, who wanted to provide women with an opportunity to participate in an adventure race in an all-female environment. The Wild Women Adventure Race is a great opportunity to experience all the thrills of adventure racing in an all women's environment. Imagine the possible adventure you’ll have, when you find yourselves out on the trails in the beautiful and spectacular Noosa Hinterland.
Participants can expect between 3-5 km of kayaking/paddling (water discipline), between 20 to 30 km of mountain biking, 8 to 15 km trail running/trekking and basic navigation. There may be multiple legs of each discipline and some bonus checkpoints to challenge the more experienced women.
