Location: Brunswick, Maine
Back for its 8th annual edition, the Maine Summer Adventure race is comprised of a 3-hour adventure race with hiking and biking for beginners, an 8-hour race that adds paddling, and a 24-hour race that is a USARA Regional Qualifier and an official ARWS North America Series race.
The 24-hour race is an extreme challenge, involving multiple hiking, mountain biking, and sea kayaking stages. Teams race through the day and night (and day again), covering up to 100+ miles in total distance.
All three races are hosted and designed by Kate and Cliff White, the founders of Strong Machine Adventure Racing.
