The Redlynch Valley Estate Multisport Race is back again in 2005 bigger and better. Thanks to generous sponsors, cash and prizes to be won total $18,000. The event consists of a 3 hour race designed with the beginner in mind who is moderately fit, and an 8 hour race designed for those with a sporting background who would like to experience adventure racing in a short course format. First place prize money for male and female is $1,500 (8 Hr race only). Mountain bike and kayak worth over $3,000 up for grabs in random draws. No navigation required. You will need to supply your own mountain bike. Race organisers will provide water craft. Free BBQ for competitors after race. Minimum age 15.
