Location: The Ukrainian Carpathians, Chorna Hora ridge,
Extreme Marathon is a mountatain race, it will take place in Ukrainian Carpathy (Carpathian mountains), from 27 of april till 4 of May 2008.
Ukrainian Carpathy is beautiful & wild nook of Eastern Europe!
Distance for Expedition Class is about 300 km, with time limit 100 hours.
Teams from 4 members (gender mixed) would overcome 300 km throughout the spectacular terrains of Carpathy. Main disciplines: tracking, mountain bike, rafting on catamarans, special tasks with the fixed ropes.
Start fee per team: registration till April, 10th 2008 - 150 euros / registration after April, 10th 2008 - 200 euros
Moreover, there are distances for 2-person teams Bike Sprint (100 km, 30 hours, disciplines: MTB, tracking, special tasks with the fixed ropes, start fee: 40 euros / 50 euros) & Track Sprint (60 km, 30 hours, disciplines: tracking, special tasks with the fixed ropes, start fee: 40 euros / 50 euros).
