Length: 70 miles
Location: Fermanagh
70 wild miles involves cycling 47 miles, canoeing 10 miles followed by a 13 mile run. The event can be done as a solo competitor or in a team of three.
2009 will be the third year of the event, going on feedback from last year, this event is not to be missed if you are really up for a challenge:

Each section of the challenge will begin and end at the Share Holiday Village. Staff from the Share Holiday Village will be working alongside CLIC Sargent to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Each participant is required to pay an entry fee of £25 (which includes an event t-shirt) and raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship per person.
All the money raised from the event will be spent in Northern Ireland helping the two children or young people diagnosed with cancer each week in Northern Ireland.
CLIC Sargent acts as a lifeline keeping families together when the unimaginable happens. We provide clinical, psychosocial, emotional and financial care and support to children and young people with cancer and their families.
