The Heat Wave adventure race is an adventure race with a Vegas-style twist, combining mountain biking, trail running, and a range of other disciplines. The \"Heat Wave\" adventure race features a 10-20 mile mountain bike course, 5-10 mile trail run, 5-15 mile canoe-kayaking course, and 3-4 \"mystery challenges.\"
This race traverses unique courses through the beautiful Nevada mountainscape and through beautuful Lake Las Vegas Resort! This race is designed to challenge both the beginning racer and the seasoned veteran.
The exact order and distance of each event is not revealed until the day of the race. And yes, each team member must win a hand of blackjack in order to proceed with the race.
