CelticXtreme - Multistage Adventure MTB Race

Location: Ireland Southwest
Traversing the mountains of Southwest Ireland in June 2010, CelticXtreme is best described as a multistage adventure mountain bike race.
Racing will take place over 6 marathon stages from the North Ballyhoura Mtns to Sneem on the Atlantic coast of Kerry.
Starting on the purpose built singletrack of Ballyhoura the continuous race route links a wide range of trails & natural terrain from open mountain side to forestry tracks & rough bog roads.
Participants may compete solo or in teams & need a good level of endurance, proficient bike handling skills & navigational ability to complete each stage.
