In many of the most exciting and interesting travel destinations, mosquitoes aren’t just a bother, they’re a real threat. Every year more than 700,000 people around the world die of mosquito-borne diseases like malaria, Zika and yellow fever.
For the upcoming season JACK WOLFSKIN developed innovative MOSQUITO PROOF technology. The material is not chemically treated; instead, it’s woven so tight that it is physically impossible for a mosquito to bite through it. It’s healthier than chemicals, and the protection can’t wash out. The fabric is a 74 % polyamide and 26 % cotton blend that is light and pleasant on the skin. It gives protection from mosquito bites as well as UV radiation.
