What is a TrailTrax?

It's a cycle orienteering event using mountain bikes for pairs or single riders visiting offroad checkpoints over a set period of time. Entrants to receive an Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 map extract printed on waterproof paper with the checkpoints pre-marked and a waterproof checkcard for punching which gives the checkpoint values.

The aim is to navigate and cycle to as many checkpoints as possible, choosing your own route to collect the highest score and return within your time limit.
