Accomodation:
Please email payment@actionasiaevents.com with your preferred person(s) who you would like to share the gers with if you haven’t as most gers are 3 beds and 4 beds each with a limited amount with 2 beds. Hotel accomodation will be 2 per room.

Itinerary:

Thursday July 17:
-    3:45 pm -Bus leaves Bayangol Hotel (tbc) (to airport to pick up others (for those arriving 1 or more days early)
-    5:00 pm - 5:30 pm – All buses leave UB airport (after arrival of HK flight as many on this flight - leaves HK 11:55am)
-    8:30 pm – Estimated time arrival at ger camp (Will try to do race briefing day 1 on buses if possible)
-    10:30-11:30 – Kitchen meals served to all participants (meat & vegetarian dishes) - included in fee

Friday July 18:
-    5 am Breakfast starts in main kitchen ger – included in fee
-    7:30 am – Race start (both 60km & 100km category)
-    12-5pm - Lunch buffet served in afternoon - included in fee
-    6 pm – Dinner served - included in fee
-    7 pm - Race briefing for day 2 course and results day 1

Saturday July 19:
-    5 am Breakfast starts in main kitchen ger – included in fee
-    7:30 am – Race start (both 60km & 100km category)
-    12-5pm - Lunch buffet served in afternoon - included in fee
-    6 pm – Dinner served - included in fee
-    7 pm – Race briefing for day 3 course and results day 2

Sunday July 20:
-    5:30 am Breakfast starts in main kitchen ger – included in fee
-    8 am – Race start (both 60km & 100km category)
-    10am - 12noon - Lunch buffet served  - included in fee
-    12 noon – Buses leave for official UB Hotel (can swing by airport and drop anyone off on the way) (arrive airport 4-5pm) then continue to Official Hotel drop off.
-    11am - AWARDS AND BUFFET DINNER AT RESTAURANT IN UB and a chance to socialize after a nice hotel shower – Awards ceremony - included in fee and transport arranged Hotel - awards - return

Monday July 21:

Bus will be arranged from official hotel in UB direct to airport in afternoon. Anyone else with earlier flight will have to take taxi themselves to airport which hotel can book for you.


What's included in the entry:

A) bus transportation from Ulaanbaatar (Airport and City) official hotel to start race location Thurs July 17 departing 2 separate times.
B) transportation during stage race days if needed and transport of your luggage between race stages if necessary. As it stands this won’t happen as same location each day.
C) Accommodation for Thurs July 17th, Fri July 18th, Sat July 19th in Gers and tents and Sunday July 20 in Ulaanbaatar Hotel (twin & triple share).
D) Transportation from finish to hotel in UB.
E) Breakfast on Friday July 18th, Sat July 19, Sun July 20 and Monday July 21. Lunch Fri July 18, Sat July 19, Sun July 20. Dinner at Thurs July 17, Fri July 18, Sat July 19, Sun July 20 awards party. No alchol provided as must purchase.
F) Bus transportation from hotel to Awards party and return Sun July 20. Bus transport to airport Monday afternoon July 21 for HK flight..
G) Racing number & souvenir shirt provided
H) Water on race course (cp every 10km estimate) with boiled water at finish line each day.
I) Medical, Police and staff support with event insurance

What's NOT included:

- Visa for Mongolia - must go to Mongolian consulate in your country to get. Don't get upon arrival as we wont wait for you as takes over 1 hour if your lucky and somebody there.
- Return flight tickets to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
- Sleeping bags  (Matress provided)
- Optional extra night’s accommodation in Mongolia. Can book thru agent Travel Expert.
- CSR - Raising money for Action Asia Foundation - Local herders can use help in books and school supplies
The Action Asia Foundation is open to suggestions as there are a few projects of interest that will be open to discussion amongst participants which include raising funds for the school supplies for some of the herders children whether it is a donation of US$ 5 or US$ 100. All donations are welcome but not mandatory. A sponsorship pledge form will be sent by email to confirmed participants and put on the site. We're also looking at a way to do more and will discuss this with different organizations for CSR ideas and welcome input.
 

 

FOOD AT CAMP – Meals are typical Mongolia fried noodle with meat / patatoes or rice meat / vegetarian options. Everyone quite happy in 2013 with food choices. Hot water will be available.

Showers & Toilets are at camp. But don't expect too much from the shower facility. Only 1 electric socket in some gers and wasn’t working last time so expect the worse. Two hole round plug. Leave your computers at home.

Telephone reception terrible. Better so you can socialize and not do business. It is possible to purchase phone cards in UB, Mongolia.

TRANSPORTATION

We need to know how many of you need picking up in city of UB and how many at airport so please email us your lfight itinerary before June 15 so we know how many buses to arrange from UB official hotel and how many need to go on Monday afternoon.
