Daily stages of 24, 20, 26, 13 and 17 miles mostly on trails. Views of Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse and mountains in five countries.

All food, lodging, aid stations and transportation provided. Yaks, wild ponies, and the Red Panda were seen at higher elevations by some runners.

At each overnight stop meal are fully catered for and accommodation is in rustic mountain huts.

Sightseeing in the Darjeeling area includes the famous Himalayan Mountaineering Museum, Toy Train, and important Tibetan monasteries.
