When it comes to outdoor activities, Arkansas stands as one of the premier playgrounds in the central US. Trails and routes that fed economic growth and migration criss-cross the State. From a historic trail aspect, the Trail of Tears is at the top of the list. Civil War battles, mail routes and trails that hid the escape of the criminal-kind mix with natural hot springs, hundreds of miles of epic mountain biking, thousands of acres of forest, gem stone mines and a unique combination of flat and white water to create a stunning backdrop for this stop on the HMAR Series.
Teams of two and four people, along with SOLO racers, will converge on Hot Springs, AR in mid-February. Nestled against the backdrop of the Ouachita National Forest this resort city is ideal for adventure racing. This race will cover approximately 300 miles during a 72-hour period.
