LOCATION
Izu-Inatori, Shizuoka Prefecture - Izu-Oshima island, Tokyo, Japan
The registration will open at the parking area next to Higashi-Izu public town hall, Izu-Inatori Port, Shizuoka prefecture.
COURSE
Orienteering (Need to read Grid reference), Trekking, Coasteering, Mountain Bike, Sea Kayak, Snorkeling
Total distance: 120 - 150 km

ENTRY FEE'S AND DETAILS
The entry fee for RealQuest Chapter1 is 150,000 Japanese Yen per team. (approx 1,400 USD or 1,300 Euro). To enter the race, Please send an e-mail (info@r-d-o.jp) with your information below:
Team name and information of a captain and team members (name, sex, address, telephone, blood type, e-mail address, for emergency contact person's telephone and name)
please enter by the end of August 2016.
PRE-REQUISITES
Each teams must contain 4 people. 2 of those will kayak during the race. All team members must be a minimum of 13 years old (junior high school student) at the time of race. In the spirit of a true expedition teams are 'unsupported'. Team member must have our own personal accident insurance.
INSURANCE
The event organizers will take out insurance, however, you must have your own personal accident insurance.
RACE EQUIPMENT
Teams are required to carry a number of items of mandatory equipment. Note, this is a list of mandatory items only, not a list of only what you should be taking. It is up to you to decide what equipment, in addition to the mandatory items, you will need to safely participate in RealQuest.
