Length: 35 miles

1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams in the Social (8 hour course) and Pro (16 hour course) will be presented with awards.

The race course will be approximately 35 miles and include the following:

Trekking: Long distance hiking in deep jungle areas and open savannahs.

Orienteering: Finding your way from Passport Control Point to Passport Control Point using a compass and map.

Mountain biking and portage: Severe single track, bitumen, jeep trails, beach and urban riding.

Open Ocean kayaking: Sit atop kayaking at its best! All members of the team will have to be able to get in and out of kayak while in deep water. In the kayak stages, two team members will kayak while the other two coasteer. Whichever pair gets to the end of the kayak portion first must wait for the other two teammates before proceeding to the Passport Control Point, which may be more than 1 or 2 miles inland. Teams may also be asked to carry their kayak over short distance.

Coasteering: Trekking while maintaining within 50 feet from the ocean at all times. Coasteering sections will include coral outcroppings and straight-edge cliffs. Teams must use their best judgment when faced with these challenges. Please Note: swimming may not be the safest passage in these areas.

Support crew mandatory.
