Starting in the beautiful village of Grächen, in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.  You have 170km (106miles) of stunning mountain running to look forward to over four days. 

Surrounded by views of mountains and meadows, Monte Rosa has some of the quietest trails offering majestic, wild spaces to explore.  Covering the route over four stages, you can take in the views during the day then enjoy Swiss and Italian hospitality with your fellow competitors in the afternoon and evening. 

It’s a tough trail, high and technical in many places with over 11,000m of ascent, so prior mountain running experience is needed.  It is by far one of the most spectacular places to run and a long-time favourite of race organiser, Lizzy Hawker.
