Adventure Racing is a multi-sport concept of combining the following sport disciplines: mountain biking, running/ trekking, kayaking and navigation. This race is the ARWS Africa Regional Championship, race five of five, which forms part of the prestigious Adventure Racing World Series - Africa Series. Beginners, more advanced athletes and the hard core racers out there are all welcome! 

Kinetic Events have been organsing adventure races for the past 10 years in South Africa as well as internationally.

RACE INFO:

> Race: venue: IMLA Guest Farm, Freestate, S. Africa

> ENTRY FEE - 120km

   * R6 600 per team of four members.

   * R3 300 per team of two members. 

   * All athletes will receive an Event gift

    * All team members will receive Sunday breakfast.

    * Top teams are expected to finish the course in 12  hours with the last team in before 24 hours

> Mixed teams of 4 is the only category to be eligible to win a free entry to the ARWS World Championships in 2023. (If the winner of the series have already qualified for a free entry for ARWC, the entry do not pass to the second place team).

> All five events counts towards the log

> Winning team of mixed four at each of the first four events will receive a free entry for the ARWS Africa Regional final in Clocolan.
> If the 1st place team has already won a free entry, the 2nd placed team will receive the free entry for the Regional final.
> Teams may substitute members with a team roster containing a maximum of 7 team members for the year. If team exceeds the 7 team member limit, there lowest event score will be omitted from the total score.
> Log will be updated after each event, see points allocated  on race website
