Time to get ready for another MONT. Of course last year was huge and cold and had a big hill and for the race crew a huge effort building a brand new course due to the bushfires. Well 2005 will be even better, bigger, and the ongoing process of continuos improvement in all the many aspects of the race.

For all those riders back again thank you. To the many new riders welcome and please make sure you try and get to the pre-event day and night rides - they are huge fun. For all, I ask you to remember that the MONT has been described as the Woodstock of mountain biking, relaxed and social with just a hint of competition. We love that analogy. It describes everything that we are wanting from the MONT 24hr - great social atmosphere and great racing.

Please remember that when you are out on the trail. We have an improved course this year, more categories (mixed and age separated in some classes) and more sponsors. Thank you for competing and socialising at the MONT 24hr.
