The Sunburst 6 | 12 Hour Trail Festival kicks off at Sunburst Ski Area in Kewaskum, WI, where SOLO and lead RELAY runners will commence at dawn. The course begins with a challenging ascent to thin the crowd, followed by over two miles of stunning trails. Participants will face a tough climb before returning to the start/finish, testing their endurance with each loop, and they'll have access to an aid station at mile 1.25 for support. Runners are encouraged to gauge how many loops they can complete within the time limits: 6 Hour competitors must finish by 1:15 pm, while 12 Hour runners have until 7:15 pm. Alongside the race, there’s a festive atmosphere with music, food, and drinks available, making this event a lively celebration of running and community. Finishing participants will receive epic medals and a stylish shirt to commemorate their effort.
