The race takes place along the picturesque Sammamish River Trail starting from Bothell Landing Park. Runners will venture south for 6.55 miles, tackling a steep descent and crossing a bridge early on. The route continues under highway 405 and leads through Wilmot Gateway Park, where participants can find a restroom and water station. Marathon runners will complete this out-and-back course twice, while 50K competitors will go a third time, reaching the concrete bulkhead before returning. The scenic landscape includes views of sprawling fields at 60 Acres Park, offering a rewarding experience amidst the challenges of distance running.
