The sixth annual Mid-America Xtreme Adventure Race will be held Saturday the 30th of July, 2005. The race is designed for competitors of all experience levels, and will challenge competitors both mentally and physically in an event which as proven to be as epic as one day at an expedition length race.

This event will be held in the pristine forests of the Nicolet National Forest of north-eastern Wisconsin. These forests total over 650,000 acres of national and county forests, covering an area larger than the entire state of Rhode Island. The glacial landscape of the forest is dotted with lakes, criss-crossed by streams, and contains what is considered to be the best white water rafting in the midwest. Truely one of Wisconsin\'s best kept secrets!

This 12 - 16 hour event will include Trekking, Paddling / Whitewater Rafting, Land Navigation, Mountain Biking and Ropes / Climbing.
