The annual ACT 6 hour Cycle rogaine is taking place on Sunday May 29 in the forests around and in the town of Tumut. The event is running earlier this year to avoid clashes with other MTB events around the traditional September date, and in the hopes of better weather. The event is open to teams of 2-5 people on MTB, although foot teams are also welcome. Riding will be a mix of fire trails and some sweet singletrack as used in the recent 3 hour race. Controls are located off tracks - typically 100-200m. Navigation is generally straightforward, with an element of strategy required to plan a route to maximise your pointscore in the 6 hours available. It\'s up to you whether you cruise around and picnic, or go flat-chat for 6 hours. After the event a good feed is put on - kick back and swap stories with other teams of your day\'s adventures.
