The Upside-Down Gold Rush Rogaine will be held west of Mareeba.
Terrain undulates from open forest grazing areas to steep country with some gold mining activity in the area; ideally suited to all levels of competitors with several un-mapped tracks and some controls located near by the Hash House for beginners and yet will present a navigational challenge to the experienced competitors.
Options for either 5hrs or 10hrs will allow beginner and experienced entrants to experience some of the skills required for longer foot/hiking rogaines.
Competitors are required to provide their own first aid kit, food and water during the event and bring chair, plate and cutlery for post event food.

Camping is included in the entry fee for 10 hour competitors and will be available on the Friday night. A small number of on site tents are available for booking. Camping facilities include hot showers, toilets and shelter sheds.

A Lunch will be provided at the completion of the events, with some snacks available during the event.
