The 10th Trophy will start in Townsville with a prolog (1st Stage) on the Promenade.
The first 8 stages are basically in the Outback of North Queensland this stages are rather flat with average of about 700 m altitude per stage. The 9th and 10th stage are more hilly. The 11th and 12th stage are the most difficult one although all the riders love the beautiful and scenery. The 11th stage through the Lakfield National Park to Cooktown with 1800 m altitude is extremely dificult because corrugations and sand. The 12th stage with 2600 m altitude from Cooktown to Daintree leads through breathtaking rainforest and several river and Creekcrossings.
The race ends in Port Douglas with a circuit race on the famous 4 Miles Beach in Port Douglas. Entry Fee( GBP )See All Event Posts
