This swim is in relatively protected waters, swimmers can expect calm conditions. If adverse conditions prevail this course may change.

Ocean Paddle Short Course: Starting at Little Manly Beach paddlers will make their way South to a turning buoy where they will turn and make their way back to Manly Wharf. Short Course paddlers will complete two laps of this course and finish at Manly Wharf. This course is held in protected waters. Paddlers can expect small chop and some boat wash.

Ocean Paddle Long Course: The King of The Harbour Ocean Classic - Starting offshore paddlers will make their way North to a turning buoy off Freshwater Beach then proceed around North Head finishing at Manly Cove on the Eastern side of Manly Wharf. This course is for experienced paddlers as this course involves mostly rough conditions.

Paddlers will drop their craft off at the designated start point then park at one of the many parking stations. Manly Beach will be used only as a staging point for paddlers.
