The 9th Salomon Raid Aventure Gerrit Kluivers Memorial is organised around the magnificent lac de Paladru. Tuesday evening the race starts with an orientation course (about 2 hours), Wednesday there are 3 short diciplines; like orientation, bike & run and swimming. After this prologue the long and hard thursday and friday contain MTB, orientation, trekking, rockclimbing, archery, rope-work, swimming and a few surprises. The GKM is a tough race, but not non-stop. Wich makes it populair for both experienced and intermediate adventure racers.
