"Algarve is the Adventure Racing paradise!!!". It looks like a "cliché" from a promotional campaign intended to sell the Algarve worldwide. Fortunately it's true and to prove it, there are more than 300 participants that in the last two years had participated in PEA events held in Algarve.
If in last years the most use qualifiers were: beautiful, super, amazing,? this time the participants will discover the all Algarve; the people, their habits, the sceneries, the secrets, the nature, the temper and strength of Algarve.
Hiking, biking, paddling, sailing, rock climbing, swimming, snorkeling and surfing all will happen at a frantic ritm, that will test all your physical and mental capabilities in the greatest Adventure Race ever held in Portugal.
The true outcome of this Raid will be the re-discovery of the Algarve as a natural paradise and a great place for adventure. The land marks of the course will be the small villages that still resist to the wheel of time and for the raiders will be the safe harbor for the difficulties they will meet.
In spite of the fact that the course is secret and build at the team ability, we announce a great finale in Silves and promise to visit some of Algarve most important natural places. In this great Raid nobody will be limited due to poor technical abilities in some of the activities, because most of them are optional and their accomplishment will be part of each team strategy.
