Our event is a 7-week program to train participants to complete an adventure race. Training includes weekly instructed trail running and mountain biking classes, a 1 day clinic on Kayaking and Adventure racing tips, and continuous support to help participants reach their individual goals. Once the training is complete and participants are ready to race, they will receive free entry into the ALS Adventure Challenge Adventure Race. In total, participants receive free training and race entry, valued at over $700. In return, each participant is required to raise funds for the cause. Last year we raised over $115,000 for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
There is also an Adventure Trek program that includes trail run training and entry into the 5km ALS Adventure Trek
