Florida Coast to Coast 2006
Adventurous Concepts is pleased to announce this year’s Florida Coast to Coast Adventure Race (Florida C2C) will take racers thru the central part of the state.
The Florida C2C will be held on Memorial Day weekend, May 26-29, 2006. The race will start on the west coast and culminate somewhere on the east coast. The 3-day adventure race will cover approximately 250 miles.
The course design team of Dennis Godber, Dr. Ron Eaglin, and I will take racers thru new territory. In addition, several anonymous course design experts will be invited to proof this course. Competitors will run, trek, kayak, bike, and navigate grasslands, mangroves, pinelands, hardwood hammocks, oak meadows, and spring fed lakes.
There is a new twist in this year’s event. We will allow teams to switch out up to two competitors along the course in the Open-S category.
The FC2C is a USARA National Championship qualifer
