The Yough Xtreme is a USARA National Championship Qualifier. Four person teams, 3 person teams, pairs & solo\'s will race 60 combined miles in beautiful Ohipyle State Park. A Rogaine like format will be used for this race.
Points will be accumilated based on the number of Check Points CP\'s team succesfully navigate.

The winning 3 person coed team will receive $400.00 from American Adventure Sports, llc toward their USARA Nationl Championship entry fee, as well as GoLite race jackets from GoLite & USARA.

Teams will mountain bike approx 30 miles on single track, rail trail, fire breaks & back roads. They will trek/orienteer approx 20 miles & they will kayak 9 miles on the Middle Yough River in inflatable kayaks. Racers will rappel approx 150\' off of the historic railroad tressel above the Yough River. (Rappel is optional)

Elevations gains & losses: approx 8000\'.

Athletes can use their own PFD\'s & paddles but they must transport them to & from the river paddle leg.

We provide customized color maps from mytopo.com, inflatable kayaks with double bladed paddles, custom Dufold jerseys, sweat shirts or cycling jerseys for all of our races.

The Start/Finish Transition are loacted at the Wilderness Voyageurs Lodge located on the west side of the river.

There will be a post race party Saturday night for anybody that cares to attend, at the Falls PUB.
