This a new format and planned to coincide with the Open5 event the following day, and at the request of James Thurlow, Open Adventure\'s Director. It is a One Day training event with the subtitle of \'How to survive the Open24!\'

The day will consist of a navigational training session, based on real Lakeland fells (just like the Open24!) also focusing on safety, route choice, clothing, etc, followed by early evening \'workshops\' re: equipment, prep, transitions, planning, food and nutrition, etc.

There is no \'night nav\' - just an evening social. . .

There will be spare sleeping space for anyone just seeking accomodation prior to Sunday\'s Open5, (just £10pp, just off the M6, just a stone\'s throw from Keswick . . . well nothing cheaper or nearer!)You are very welcome to do your own thing during Saturday and join the evening party for a beer and \'shoot the breeze\' on Saturday evening.
