This is the 7th annual Prairie Pitch, held in a different location each year. It is a 12 hour adventure race for teams of three including running, biking (on and off road), canoeing, and navigation. This is a score event - the team that gathers the most optional points (in addition to the mandatory checkpoints) in the allowed time is the winner. Because of the score format the race is suitable for both novice and competitive teams. You must supply your own canoe and must have a support person able to transport your bikes and canoe between transition areas.
