The SCOTT 2007 Australian 24hr Mountain Bike Championships to be held on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of October is the original CORC 24hr race (the sponsors changed from Mont in 2005 to SCOTT in 2006).

It’s back at the birthplace of Australian 24hr racing; Mt Stromlo – Stromlo Forest Park: The home of the 24hr.

It gives you the chance to race on the same tracks that will be used at the 2009 UCI World Mountain Bike & Trials Championships.

For those newcomers, the SCOTT 24hr is a two-day mountain biking event that tests riders\' skills and endurance over a demanding course. Riders compete solo or in teams of up to ten, to complete the most laps in the 24 hour period.

More than 8,000 riders and spectators are expected at the $7.5 million Stromlo Forest Park. Over the weekend, riders and spectators will enjoy a range of exciting entertainment including stunt rides and demonstrations as well as a trade show showcasing the latest must-have mountain biking accessories, gadgets, and bikes.

Thanks to you, the SCOTT 24hr is already the biggest 24hr in the world and, based on your feedback from 2006, CORC and our team are working hard to make this race the best 24hr ever. See All Event Posts
