The Wild Moa involves 67km\'s of some of New Zealand\'s most scenic wonderland.
First up a kayak (3km run/7km kayak/1km portage/9km kayak) - a short road and bush run precedes the breathtakingly beautiful paddle encompassing Lakes Okataina and Tarawera, joined by a unique 1km kayak portage. Next is the mountain bike (32km). Following a brief 5km road section, the ride follows forestry four wheel drive tracks and then culminates with most of the famous purpose built Waipa mountain bike single tracks. And the last leg is a run (15km) - quite possibly one of the North Islands most stunning bush and forest runs including the infamous Wild Moa Valley and majestic Redwood Grove.
