Dynamic Adventure Racing Challenge
You have 2 hours on foot, using footpaths, bridleways and tracks to visit as many check points (CPs) as you can to accumulate points. The CPs have different values according to their location.
After the first stage you return to the race base for a 1-hour transition to prepare for the mountain bike stage. You then have 3 hours on the mountain bike, again choosing your own route to accumulate points. The winter races also incorporate a unique third stage, night navigation. This stage is on foot, in the dark and lasts for 1 hour. The competitors accumulating the most points in each category win.A great challenge and excellent fun.
