The 2008 adventure race season in Minnesota kicks off with the Wild Adventure Race Spring event, which has a 2-3 hour and a 12-hour format for teams of 2 or teams of 4. This event is a great way to start off the new adventure race season. The 2008 Wild Adventure Race Spring 2-3 hour and 12-hour races will be held in and around Red Wing, Minnesota, approximately 1 hour south of the Twin Cities on the beautiful Mississippi River. The 2-3 hour race will include trekking, basic navigation, mountain biking, a short kayaking section, and mystery challenge events. The 12-hour race will include trekking, orienteering, mountain biking, kayaking, fixed ropes (rappel/traverse) and mystery challenge events. No certifications are required to compete in this event.
